Friends of The Irish Horse Welfare Trust have organised a sponsored / charity ride out in aid of the Irish Horse Welfare Trust on Saturday 15th October at Carrick Woods in Glenealy, Co. Wicklow. This day is open to all - you do not need to be a member of any organisation to take part. Indoor Winter Show Jumping League: Greenvalley Riding Club are delighted to announce that our Indoor Winter Show Jumping League, starts on Sunday 14th November and runs for five consecutive weeks finishing with a Grand Final on Sunday 12th December. There are classes for all riding club grades plus a Fun Acculumulator Competition in each grade. We have a new venue, Spruce Lodge Equestrian, Ballyrogan, Co. Wicklow, just 5 minutes off the N11 Motorway at Jack Whites Inn. This is a new fabulous facility owned by Joan Keogh, Large Indoor Arena, Warm Up and plenty of parking. We had  a great day for our Annual Charity Ride, the sun shone and all who came along had a great time. We had great support from many Riding Club and Pony Club members as far as Kilossery Riding Club. Together they raised almost 2,500 Euro for The Irish Horse Welfare Trust. To All we say a very big THANK YOU

The Riding Clubs and Pony Clubs in the South Leinster Region  joined forces to host A Sponsored / Charity Ride in aid of The Irish Horse Welfare Trust. This proved to be a very popular event in brilliant sunshine where approx. 60 riders had a great time riding through the beautiful surroundings of Carrick Woods in Glenealy, Co. Wicklow. Our Greenvalley Midi and Maxi Team Classic Competitions took place on Saturday 2nd October at Boswell Equestrian. A great day was had by all despite some very heavy showers of rain. Greenvalley had two teams in the Midi Classic and one in the Maxi. Our team Ross and The Clara Lara Ladies: Ross Kealy, Margaret O'Kelly, Sharon Power and Marnie Conway took 4th Place while our Greenvalley Gazelles: Dalma Stanley, Diarmuid Daly, Sharon Hurley and Becky Lee finished just outside the ribbons in 7th Place. Our Greenvalley All Stars: Rachel Ireson, Jenny Stringer, Orla McAndrew and Louise Ireson won The Maxi Classic. Niamh Holland was a member of the SLR Mix'n Match team who took 2nd place and Emma Jane O'Riordan was a member of the team who took 5th place Click HERE to view full results

Greenvalley Riding Club are hosting our Annual Midi and Maxi Team Classics at Boswell Equestrian, Ashford on Saturday 2nd October. There are two team competitions on the day. The Midi Classic catering for Primary, Adv. Primary and Intermediate Riders. They each jump a very inviting course approx. 5cm under their grade height. Any combination of the above grades may form a team. The Maxi Classic consists of two very inviting courses, a 90cm course ridden by riders from Intermediate or Adv Intermediate grades and a 1m course ridden by riders from Adv. Intermediate, Open and Adv. Open grades. Any rider who jumps both rounds clear may go forward to a jump off for an Individual Prize. Click HERE to view flyer. Click HERE for application form
